Day-Use Riders' Cottage

Located 1 ½ hours north of Houston in the Sam Houston National Forest. The Riders' Cottage is nestled among cedar trees. Features include:

• Porch with seating for 10-12
• Air-conditioned room
• Bathroom
• Refrigerator
• Microwave
• Coffee pot
• Kitchen sink

The cottage is available for all incoming day riders. Added features to the cottage are a flower garden and 30-40 resident humming birds. They constantly exhibit their kamikaze antics across the porch.

Secure Parking Area

The parking area is approximately 1 1/2 acres and will have 4 30-amp plug-ins to service up to 55 foot rigs (each has a 12' x 16' or 12' x 12' pen available). This area is bordered by fences, trees and shrubs.

Horse Stalls/Pens/Shelters

Stalls and pens( with and without) shelters are available for those staying overnight. Run-in shelter with a large paddock is available upon request.

Water is always available in the parking area.
